Terms of Use
These terms set the basic rules for authorized use of OnLime and its connected learning services.
Last updated 3 September 2026
Operator and jurisdiction
OnLime is currently operated personally by its owner as a sole operator based in Egypt. OnLime is not currently an incorporated or registered company. In these terms, “OnLime,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the OnLime service and that sole operator. These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, subject to mandatory rights and laws that may apply where a user accesses the service. Users may access OnLime from Egypt and other countries.
Using OnLime
You may use OnLime only through an account, invitation, access code, or parent-access link issued or approved for you. You are responsible for keeping access credentials private and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
Roles and authority
Teachers and administrators are responsible for the students, assistants, courses, content, and connected accounts they manage. Parents and guardians may access only the learners to whom they are actively linked. Students and assistants must use only the courses and tools made available to them. OnLime enforces these boundaries on the server.
For a student under 16, the Teacher, school, or educational organization that enrolls the student or enables Zoom functionality through OnLime is responsible for having the required authority and for obtaining parental or guardian consent and any other permission required by applicable law before enrollment or use. A student under 16 must not join a course or use OnLime or its Zoom functionality without that authorization.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- access another person's account, course, family record, or credential;
- probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, or bypass OnLime security controls;
- upload unlawful, malicious, infringing, or harmful material;
- misrepresent attendance, identity, grades, permissions, or payment status; or
- use connected-service data for a purpose unrelated to the authorized class.
Zoom integration
Each teacher may authorize the Account-managed Zoom app as the owner or administrator of their own Zoom account and must also be the licensed meeting host in the supported configuration. Students do not authorize the Zoom app. OnLime requests only the scopes needed to create and manage that teacher's classes, register eligible students, and reconcile attendance. Zoom availability, account eligibility, and platform rules also apply. Teachers can disconnect OnLime at any time from OnLime or Zoom.
By enabling Zoom for a course, the responsible Teacher, school, or educational organization instructs OnLime to process the limited Zoom data described in the Privacy Policy and authorizes OnLime to retain only a minimized final academic attendance result where required for legitimate educational records after Zoom is disconnected or deauthorized. Zoom credentials, provider identifiers, participant intervals, event data, join URLs, and other Zoom-derived provider data are deleted or minimized.
Learning content and records
Course materials remain subject to the rights of their authors or licensors. Users retain rights in their original submissions while allowing OnLime to process them to provide marking, feedback, reporting, and support. Academic results and attendance may be retained when required for legitimate educational records and audit integrity.
Availability and changes
OnLime aims to provide a reliable service, but maintenance, provider outages, safety controls, or events outside our reasonable control may interrupt access. Features may be changed or withdrawn when needed for security, compliance, or product operation. Material changes to these terms will be posted with a new update date.
Suspension and ending access
OnLime may restrict access that is inactive, unauthorized, unsafe, or in breach of these terms. A user or organization may request account closure through support@learnonlime.com. Connected services can be removed separately; instructions for Zoom are available on the public Zoom support page.
Contact
Questions about these terms or the service can be sent to support@learnonlime.com and will be handled by the OnLime sole operator based in Egypt.
